Lab
Lab research helps to get additional multipliers to the stats, unlock new game features, upgrade cards and Ultimate Weapons and get some Quality of Life upgrades.
Your first Lab is unlocked after beating tier 1 wave 30 and claiming its milestone reward. Most Lab Researches are unlocked through achieving milestones.

Number of Labs[edit | edit source]
You will start with one lab when unlocked in Milestones. You can unlock up to 5 labs using Gems, but the unlock price progressively higher for each next Lab. The total cost of unlocking all Labs is 4,900 Gems.

Rushing Labs[edit | edit source]
You can instantly finish the ongoing research by rushing the Lab using Gems. Rush cost will depend on the remaining research time. Longer lab times have built in discounts making it cost less gems per time.

Boosting Labs[edit | edit source]
Labs can be sped up using Elite Cells. Labs can be boosted by 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x research speed multiplier for the duration of 1 hour, 8 hours or 24 hours. You can do that by pressing "Speed Up" button next to the ongoing research and selecting the required research speed multiplier and duration. The cost for the boost increases by 20% for each lab already boosted.
The cost of boosting goes up faster than the boost multiplier, for example 1.5x to 2x is a 50% base or a ~33% relative increase vs a 5.33 times cost increase. Thus it is advisable to boost multiple labs at the same time instead of boosting at higher multipliers unless you have the cell generation to replenish the cost before the time runs out.
