Orbs rotate around the Tower and instantly kill normal enemies. They can be upgraded to increase the number of Orbs, their rotation speed and get additional set of Orbs using the Card.

Orb Damage Mechanics[edit | edit source]

Orbs will kill Enemies instantly with the exception of Bosses, Elites, Protectors and enemies protected by Protectors. Bosses can receive damage by orbs using the Orb Boss Hit lab up to 2% of maximum health per hit.

In the Tournaments Heat can prevent Orbs from instantly killing enemies. The heat level will determine the damage orbs do to the normal enemies. Bosses will continue taking damage based on Orb Boss Hit lab.

Workshop[edit | edit source]

Unlocked in the Workshop.pngWorkshop for 15000 coins after Knockback. Unlocks Orb Speed and Orbs in the workshop. Workshop orbs distance will adjust based on tower range. The adjustment is lower than a 1:1 adjustment so orbs will be further inside the tower range as tower range gets larger.

Orb Speed[edit | edit source]

Speed of the orbs defending your tower. There are 38 upgrades with base value of 0.4. Each level increases the speed by 0.15 for a maximum value of 6.10. Orb speed is in rotations per minute.

Orbs[edit | edit source]

Number of orbs defending your tower. There are 4 levels that add one orb each level for a maximum of 4 orbs. Using the orb perk, the maximum orbs can become 6 orbs.

Cards[edit | edit source]

Extra Orb.pngExtra Orb card adds additional set of orbs rotating around the tower in the opposite direction than the normal orbs.

Extra Orbs Range can be adjusted after the Lab research will be comleted.

Orb speed affects the Extra Orb.pngExtra Orb card. Extra Orb speed is the workshop value + the card value. Researching Extra Extra Orb reduces extra orb speed by 5% and the 2nd Extra Extra Orb reduces speed by an additional 5% for a total of a 10% Orb speed reduction. Since orb speed is in rotations per minute, adjusting the orbs with the Extra Orb Adjuster lab to be farther away from the tower will cause them to speed up to complete the rotations in the same amount of time.

The Labs for Orb Speed, Orb Boss Hit, Extra Orb Adjuster and Extra Extra Orbs are unlocked in Milestones.

Extra Orb Adjuster[edit | edit source]

Lab.pngLab Card Research Unlocks at Tier 6 Wave 50 Milestone. Allows Orbs from the Extra Orb.pngCards/Extra Orb card to have their range adjusted during rounds. Orbs can be adjusted between 60m and % of the tower range. If tower range is lower than 60m, Extra Orbs cannot be adjusted. The orb adjuster does not work while a boss is alive. The max range now scales with tower range, however there is minimal difference between where max is now and where max was prior to the change.
