Energy Shield Cards.pngCard provides a rechargeable shield that blocks the tower from taking damage from a single attack.

Use[edit | edit source]

Energy shield will activate at any damage that Tower takes, preventing it and going on the cooldown afterwards. That means that even small attacks from leaked enemies or shot from ranged enemy will trigger the Energy Shield. It becomes more useful later for glass cannon builds, where all enemies oneshot you.

It can also be used in conjuction with other revive skills to grind Death Defy Event mission on highest difficulty tiers.

The Energy Shield Card recharges over a period of time so Wave Skip.pngwave skip and Wave Accelerator.pngwave accelerator do not speed up the recharge rate. Game Speed will increase the rate the shield recharges. At max the shield will take more than 10 waves to recharge a charge.

The Energy Shield Card is one of 3 abilities that automatically prevent death. Each work together by activating in a specific order. In case of the fatal damage game will go through them in the following order:

  1. Death Defy: Triggers first. If activated none of the next abilities will activate since the tower does not take damage.
  2. Energy Shield.pngEnergy Shield: If Death Defy fails and an Energy Shield charge is available, Second Wind will not activate because no damage is taken.
  3. Second Wind.pngSecond Wind: If Death Defy fails and Energy Shield does not have a charge, Second wind will activate.

Energy Shield Upgrades[edit | edit source]

Energy Shield increases the Invincible Shield duration as it gains additional star on the upgrade.

Energy Shield Mastery[edit | edit source]

Energy shield activates a blast that repels all enemies back by a percent of tower max range and destroy all enemy projectiles. The charge times of Rays are reset. Also unlocks Repel research.

Mastery Ability[edit | edit source]

RepelIncreases the pushback as a percent of Tower Range: 5%.

Mastery Research[edit | edit source]

Increases pushback as a percent of tower range.

Lab.pngLab Card Research Unlocks after activating its mastery. Increases Energy Shield.pngEnergy Shield's Card Mastery effect of pushback as a percent of tower range. Has 9 levels.

Energy Shield Extra Hit[edit | edit source]

Lab.pngLab Card Research Unlocks at Tier 4 wave 300 Milestone. The extra hits create new charges. Energy Shield recharges one charge at a time. When 2 or more charges have been lost, you will have to wait until the previous charge is back up before the othee charges can begin recharging. When a charge is ready, it will be active even if other charges are still charging. Has 2 levels.
