Cards can be equipped for additional stats or effects for the Tower and can be bought for 20 Gems. Buying cards is a gacha mechanics, where you get a chance to get a random card of a specific rarity. If you max out the card it will be removed from the pool, making getting other cards easier.

Later in the game it is possible to unlock Card Presets in the Lab that will allow you to have 5 presets for better quality of life.

It is possible to unequip and equip most cards during the run in order to adjust to the current situation, except for locked cards.

Locked Cards[edit | edit source]

Cards like Enemy Balance or Plasma Cannons have a lock icon on them. If you equip this card before the run it cannot be removed until the round ends.

During a boss stage and while boss is alive all cards become locked and it's impossible to change them until bosses are defeated.

Card Slots[edit | edit source]

There are limited slots where you can equip your cards and it can be increased with Gems. Each next card slot unlock will require more Gems and will max out at 21 slots. It will cost 48,400 Gems to buy all 21 Card Slots.

Buying Cards[edit | edit source]

Cards can be acquired through buying them in the Cards menu. Each pull costs 20 Gems and will pull a random card of 1 of 3 rarities: Common, Rare or Epic. When you pull the card rarity is decided first and then the exact card within that rarity pool:

  • Common - 80%
  • Rare - 17%
  • Epic - 3%

Fully maxed cards are excluded from the pool making it easier to get other cards. When all common cards are purchased, the chance to get a rare card goes up to 97%.

When all cards are fully maxed out you can no longer buy cards. Event mission to buy x cards will complete instantly.

Upgrading Cards[edit | edit source]

In order to upgrade a card you need to pull copies of the same card. Depending on the Card Star level you will need different amount of Cards per level. It will take 80 copies of a card, costing 1600 Gems to max out a card.

Overall, you need 48,000 gems to pull a total of 2,400 cards in order to max them all out.

Card Unlocks Milestones[edit | edit source]

Some cards require you to reach some milestones by beating specific wave and tier to unlock them. After the milestone reward is claimed, those cards will be added to the cards pull for buying them.

Card Mastery[edit | edit source]

Card Mastery allows you to unlock additional card features using Power Stone.pngStones. Those are end-game upgrades, because it's better to spend stones on Ultimate Weapons.pngUltimate Weapons and their upgrades. Moreover, Lab costs for Card mastery has a high costs, with level 1 Damage mastery having basic research time fo 20 days and costs 1.1q Coin.pngCoins

Card Mastery unlocks at Tier 16 Wave 100 Milestone.
