Free Upgrades Card
Increases all free upgrade chances per wave by specific amount.

Free Upgrades Card adds additional % to the free upgrades, increasing their probability to trigger per wave.
Free Upgrades Card isn't most useful one, but it can be extremely helpful in specific situations. A nice example is getting free upgrades for Super Critical, Enemy Skip Levels that are too expensive to get otherwise for the players who just unlocked them.
Also it helps to get more Damage and Health upgrades if playing idle for prolonged periods of time, like overnight runs.
Since it can be slotted in and out freely, it's a great tool to add a little bit extra free upgrades when you have extra slot or do not need specific cards like Cash, Damage, Health, Defense % etc.
Free Upgrades Upgrades[edit | edit source]
Free Upgrades increase free upgrade chances as it gains additional star on the upgrade.

Free Upgrades Mastery[edit | edit source]
Adds a number of locked stats that are not impacted by free upgrades, and unlocks Locked Upgrade research. This is set before the run starts, and cannot be changed mid run.
The idea is that you can prevent Free Upgrades from triggering on specific stats you don't want to upgrade, like Defense Absolute or Health Regen for Defense upgrades. Other use is for Devo builds, where you want to keep some stats like range to the minimum. This makes it more effective at upgrading the stats that you need.
